About Sunflower protein

A very clean and sustainable protein solution. Harvested sunflower seeds are dehulled and expeller pressed. The remaining press cake is ground into a Sunflower Concentrate.

• Powders are supplied in a variety of formats, ultimately, either Roasted or Unroasted. Roasting provides a great flavour profile with hints of chocolate, yeast and malt, ideal for beverages and baked goods.
• Either protein can be milled to an Extra Fine powder which provides excellent dispersion and solubility.

Texturised with a twin screw extruder and cut in to three particulates. 

• Chunks - Perfect for Meat Alternatives, Pet Food and Snacks. Simply hydrate with flavours and shred to size.
• Mince - Ideal for Meat Alternative texture building and vege mince. Can also be used to build high protein texture and inclusion in Bars and Snacks
• Crisps - a much smaller particulate for protein bars, toppings and inclusions.
